Van Sales Representative- Caribbean Choice

VAN SALES REPRESENTATIVE - CARIBBEAN CHOICE (CONTRACT)

VAN SALES REPRESENTATIVE 

(CARIBBEAN CHOICE- CONTRACT)

Reporting to the Route Sales Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for performing route sales activities and delivery of company products to customers in an efficient and effective manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maximize product sales to achieve monthly sales target
• Ensure product range distribution is maximized, appropriate for each customer
• Ensure that products are displayed and rotated
• Ensure that only products of the highest quality are made available/delivered to customers/consumers

• Appropriate handling of stocks to optimize call efficiency and to avoid damages and short expiry issues
• Ensure proper management of receivables by operating at a point that minimizes risk while maximizing sales
• Prompt distribution of new products, according to channel priorities
• Prepare and maintain proper customer records
• Develop and grow product sales of assigned route

ACADEMIC/ PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary Education
• At minimum: 2 CXC/GCE subjects, preferably English Language and a numeric subject
• Open General Driver’s Licence with good history of driving a mimumum of 7000 ton units
• Computer literate

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be a flexible team player
• Ability to lift boxes weighing  40 lbs or more
• Demonstrable customer service skills/relationship building
• Works in a fast paced physically task intensive working environment dealing with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products.
• Must be able to work long or irregular hours
