SUPPORT RECONCILATION OFFICER (TEMPORARY)
Reporting to the Reconciliation Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely preparation of Intercompany, Supplier, and Bank Reconciliation Statements.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Prepare inter-company, bank, suppliers, and credit card reconciliation statements.
- Clearing of ALL GRIR balances for assigned suppliers and intercompany accounts.
- Follow up on long outstanding reconciling items on reconciliations to clear them on time.
- Post journal entries, as applicable, for reconciliations prepared
- Post Credit Notes and invoice adjustments for assigned suppliers
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Studies
- Two (2) years of working experience in a similar position
- Strong numeric, analytical, and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication, listening, verbal, and written presentation skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the use of SAP is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Pays keen attention to details
