SENIOR SHOPPER EXPERIENCE OFFICER

 

 

Grace Foods & Services Company

 

Reporting to the Shopper Experience Manager, the incumbent will be required to assist in planning and execution of channel activities for Grace Brands.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and executing trade/event activities on a monthly basis
  • Monthly trade visits across all channels
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of the unit's annual calendar along with budgets for each activity
  • Work closely with Brand Management, Grace Kitchens and the Commercial units to execute agreed promotions and events
  • Monitor the usage of all promotions-related inventory to protect the Unit's resources for successive use
  • Work closely with the Shopper Experience Manager to ensure the objectives of the Shopper Experience Unit are met. 

 

ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Promotions, Marketing or Sales of FMCG, preferably in the Grocery or Food Industry
  • Must reside in Kingston, St. Catherine, Manchester or Clarendon
  • Willing and able to travel extensively 
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft Suite of Applications
  • Good, working knowledge of popular social networking sites
  • Knowledge of SAP Software, an asset

  • Strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Sound communication skills, both orally and written
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all levels and customer service oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be a flexible team player
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task and cope with changing priorities
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Supervisory experience is an asset.
