SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Human Resources Manager who is ready to elevate their career and make an impact at First Global Bank (FGB).
This is a pivotal role for a senior HR professional who is passionate about shaping culture, strengthening leadership capability, and aligning people strategies with business performance. What will make you successful?
- A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, with senior‑level HR leadership experience, ideally within financial services.
- A proven ability to translate business strategy into practical, value‑adding people solutions that drive productivity, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong working knowledge of Jamaican labour laws, regulatory requirements, and HR governance within a highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading performance management, employee relations, compensation reviews, succession planning and workforce planning.
- The confidence to engage senior leaders, committees, and other stakeholders with clarity, sound judgement, and professionalism.
Skills and competencies you will need:
- Leadership presence to inspire, coach, and develop the HR team while supporting the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- Critical thinking to take a big‑picture view of talent, capability, and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong decision‑making and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance employee advocacy and business imperatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills to drive engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical capability to diagnose issues, manage risk, and deliver practical, data‑driven HR solutions.
