SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

 

To develop, implement and oversee the administration of insurance, risk management solutions and renewal activity surrounding existing portfolios on behalf of assigned clients. Generate new business and growth opportunities through aggressive and strategic prospecting in order to optimize revenue. The role involves use of astute advisory skills, market knowledge and overseeing administrative services to the client's satisfaction and within the company's guidelines.

 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient management of the account portfolios of our medium to high value clients.
  • Employ business development strategies to ensure that new business targets are met.
  • Employ strategies to ensure that renewal targets are met.
  • Convert prospects based on leads received
  • Engage with customers to get an in-depth understanding of their insurance needs and provide professional advice accordingly.
  • Anticipate circumstances and their impact and initiate advice on such matters pertinent to proper protection of the assets and liabilities while keeping clients fully informed on product/market changes which affect their portfolio.
  • Identify gaps in cover and up-sell/cross-sell to clients
  • Maintain client data in the manner directed to facilitate easy access to information.
  • Bind coverage with Insurance companies and have documents prepared accurately and in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that payment schedules are consistent with company's directive and premiums collected promptly.

 

Minimum education and experience

  • Bachelors' Degree
  • The FLMI or any equivalent
  • At least Five (5) year's experience within the Insurance industry in a supervisory and or sales capacity, accompanied by sound product knowledge.
  • Registered salesman in OLT, Sickness and Health and Personal Accident.
  • Must possess a reliable motor vehicle
