Security Operations Manager

 

 

Reporting to the Chief Security Manager, the successful candidate will manage the overall security portfolio for the GK Foods Division, to include the security of its employees, assets, and brand reputation, and maintain a comprehensive safety programme for the GK Foods Division in accordance with international standards and practices. 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

·       Conducting timely investigations into incidents of misconduct, security breaches, or other irregular practices and preparing prompt reports to support informed management decisions.

·       Developing and implementing security plans and strategies to safeguard company personnel, assets, and operations.

·       Managing the security of the Domestic Supply Chain, including oversight of the GPS tracking system for the van sales team.

·       Conducting regular security, safety, and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) audits across company locations.

·       Overseeing the operations of third-party security personnel, including guards and emergency response teams, to ensure compliance with service standards.

·       Serving as the primary coordinator for security incident response planning and execution.

·       Managing security coverage and logistics for company-sponsored events and promotional activities.

·       Conducting site surveys and planning logistics for future locations and events to ensure appropriate security measures are in place.

 

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?

·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

·       A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a managerial security role within a medium to large organization.

·       Strong knowledge and practical experience in Interview & Interrogation, Asset Protection, Electronic Security Systems, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Management.

·       Proven ability to effectively communicate and engage with key stakeholders at all levels.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

·       Demonstrated leadership with strong planning and execution capabilities.

·       Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·       Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

·       Exceptional client-facing and communication skills—both written and verbal.

·       Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.

·       High attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
