Special Merchandising Action Team (SMAT) Coordinator
PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide support to the Marketing and Commercial departments in implementing and monitoring sales and marketing strategies related to merchandising and promotions execution in assigned accounts or territories.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure display of products in accordance to Planograms.
- Ensure the proper use and distribution of POP materials through all channels.
- Ensure that promotions whether consumer or in store are executed in accordance to specific guidelines stipulated by Marketing Manager and the Brand Managers.
- Continuously seek to grow the business through the solicitation and implementation of strategies that will increase share of shelf and incremental displays.
- Identify new business opportunities in channels not currently served by World Brand Services with a view to expand sales and representation of principal brands.
- Perform any other duties delegated from time to time to maintain a high level of efficiency within the department.

Execute the company’s Visibility Strategy in line with both the organization’s and principals’ objectives, ensuring consistent, high‑quality brand presence across all channels with key emphasis in Van Sales.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- At minimum: Diploma in Business or Sales or Merchandising or related field.
- Four CXC/GCE O’Level subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
- At least 3 years Merchandising experience at a Senior Level
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
