Relief Accounts Payable Officer

Relief Accounts Payable Officer  (Temporary)

(GK FOODS)

Reporting to the Senior Accountant - Payables, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating payables functions and assisting with the daily cash flow management of the domestic business units in the GK Foods division.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Maintaining Invoice Receival Log on a daily basis.
• Preparing proposal listings and printing of cheques/electronic transfers
• Processing of supplier invoices and other GL entries
• Ensuring transactions are cleared from the relevant accounts on a timely basis.
• Follow up and resolving issues with supplier accounts

  WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 1 certification
• At least three (2) years' working experience in accounting or a related field
• Knowledge of SAP software, and manufacturing accounting would be an asset
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
• Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in the use of the computer and related software applications
• Detail oriented.
