Reconciliation Supervisor
(GK FOODS)
Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, the successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations, resolve reconciling items, and address supplier, bank, intercompany, and inventory queries. The role also includes supervising Reconciliation Officers and preparing monthly audit schedules.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for inventory, bank accounts, intercompany balances, and external suppliers
- Investigate, follow up on, and resolve reconciling items and discrepancies within agreed timelines
- Prepare and post journal vouchers accurately and on time
- Compile and submit monthly audit schedules
- Supervise and support Reconciliation Officers, ensuring the quality and timeliness of work
- Respond to supplier and customer queries related to reconciliations
- Perform other duties as required to support departmental efficiency
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?
- Currently pursuing ACCA Level II or a BSc in Accounting or Management Studies
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar accounting or reconciliation role
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and best practices
- Experience using ERP systems, SAP, and/or SMS would be an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High level of accuracy with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required
