RECONCILIATION OFFICER
(GK FOODS)
Reporting to the Reconciliation Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing intercompany, supplier, and bank reconciliation statements promptly.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Preparing intercompany, bank, supplier, and credit card reconciliation statements.
- Preparing inventory reconciliation statements.
- Following up on long-standing outstanding reconciling items, to clear them within three (3) months.
- Preparing and posting journal entries related to reconciliations.
- Posting credit notes and invoice adjustments for assigned suppliers.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Studies.
- Two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills—listening, verbal, and written.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
