Project Research Administrator
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will engage in comprehensive research activities to support and facilitate the adherence of products and product labels to the evolving regulatory standards within GraceKennedy's markets.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Reviewing labels to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Summarising label edit reports from external label audit reviews
- Examining product review reports to align with the latest regulatory standards
- Managing a comprehensive database of current labels and specifications to support regulatory audits and updates
- Conducting in-depth research to support product reengineering projects, ensuring alignment with recent regulatory guidelines
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
- Training in Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, etc.) and food safety audit knowledge would be an asset
- Previous experience with local/CARICOM and U.S. label regulations would be an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection, documentation, and compliance
- Comfortable with research methodologies, data management, and preparation of technical documentation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with researchers, stakeholders, and team members, and to prepare reports and documentation
