Product Development Manager

(Contract)

 

 

We are looking for a driven professional to support new product development for the GK Foods Division. This role manages innovation projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery, cross‑functional coordination, and strong execution using the Stage Gate process.

 

What you will be responsible for

  • Managing assigned innovation projects through the Stage Gate process.
  • Creating and maintaining project plans with clear milestones.
  • Ensuring timely completion of projects and scheduled reports.
  • Updating project information in the central software system.
  • Monitoring project financials, including expenses, revenue, and margins.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including Innovation, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Factories.
  • Coordinating with external partners, including suppliers, co‑packers, designers, and research providers.
  • Conducting market and supplier visits when required.

 

What is required for the job

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related technical field; a Master’s in Business Administration is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Project Management, Procurement, Marketing, or Innovation related-field.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project is an asset.
  • Strong research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead multifunctional teams and work effectively across departments.
  • Creative and critical thinker with the ability to identify product opportunities.
