MARKETING OFFICER - PRODUCT
Purpose of Position
The Marketing Officer, Product is responsible for the end-to-end marketing execution and commercial support of FGB's products and services in the market. The Marketing Officer, Product owns the day-to-day marketing of FGB's full product portfolio, executes product campaigns across multiple channels, leads product launch execution, and coordinates with business units to ensure marketing activity is always commercially grounded and commercially useful.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Execution and Product Marketing
• Execute integrated product marketing campaigns across digital, in-branch, outdoor, and direct channels from brief through to delivery
• Execute product and brand campaign activations as briefed and prioritised by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing, ensuring every campaign that goes to market is delivered with commercial clarity, brand integrity, and execution precision
• Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and dependencies ensuring all product marketing activations are delivered on time, on brand, and to standard
2. Product Coverage and Portfolio Management
• Maintain active and current marketing coverage across FGB's full product portfolio, ensuring no product sits without visibility, positioning support, or campaign activity for extended periods
• Keep an accurate and current picture of how each product is positioned, priced, and performing in the market, and bring that intelligence proactively into marketing planning conversations
• Monitor product marketing performance across FGB's portfolio and surface gaps, underperformance trends, and coverage opportunities to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing with clear observations
• Surface opportunities to deepen product visibility, drive adoption, and grow product presence in the market, bringing these to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing for decision and activation
3. Product Launch Execution
• Execute product launch marketing activity across all relevant channels, ensuring new products and services go to market with sufficient visibility, commercial clarity, and customer relevance
• Coordinate with business units to gather product intelligence, understand commercial objectives, and ensure launch marketing is grounded in what the product actually delivers for the customer
• Ensure every product launch is supported by consistent marketing activity across digital, in-branch, and direct channels, maintaining brand alignment and message consistency throughout
• Conduct post-launch performance tracking and provide structured findings to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing on what worked, what did not, and what the data shows
4. Digital and Channel Execution
• Execute digital and direct marketing campaigns for FGB's products across all platforms in line with the campaign direction set by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing
• Set up, manage, and optimise product campaign executions including paid digital, organic content, email marketing, and in-branch channel activations
• Monitor product campaign performance across digital and direct channels, compile results, and provide clear performance summaries to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing
5. Business Unit Coordination
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with FGB's business units, serving as an informed and commercially credible marketing resource in those conversations
• Engage with business units to gather product information, understand commercial priorities, and ensure marketing activity connects to what the business is actually trying to achieve
• Coordinate with the Communications Lead to ensure product messaging and copy is on brand, tonally consistent, and aligned with FGB's communication standards
6. Compliance and Governance
• Ensure all product marketing materials and campaigns comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and GraceKennedy Group standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and approval records for all product marketing activity
• Ensure all product communications are reviewed and approved through the correct internal channels before distribution or publication
Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
• Professional marketing certification is an asset
• Minimum three years of experience in product marketing, campaign execution, or a commercially oriented marketing role. Candidates whose experience is limited to administrative coordination or creative production without commercial depth will not meet the standard this role requires
• Demonstrated experience executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels with accountability for delivery and performance
• Experience working with or coordinating across commercial business units, product teams, or sales functions is an asset
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, campaign management tools, and marketing analytics is expected
• Exposure to product marketing, financial products, or working in a regulated industry is an asset
