MARKETING OFFICER - BRAND

Purpose of Position

The Marketing Officer, Brand is responsible for bringing the FGB brand to life across campaigns, activations, sponsorships, events, and experiential marketing. The Marketing Officer, Brand owns the end-to-end delivery of brand activations and events, executes digital and social media campaigns, and supports product marketing campaign execution across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Execution and Brand Activation
•    Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, in-branch, outdoor, experiential, and sponsorship channels from brief through to delivery
•    Execute brand and product marketing campaign activations as briefed and prioritised by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing, ensuring every campaign that goes to market is delivered with brand integrity, creative quality, and execution precision
•    Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless campaign execution across all touchpoints
•    Track campaign delivery and provide regular progress updates to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing

2. Sponsorship Activation and Experiential Marketing
•    Execute FGB’s sponsorship activations across all properties including major events, community partnerships, and brand sponsorships, as planned and prioritised by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing
•    Execute activation plans as directed by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing, ensuring the brand shows up distinctively and memorably at every sponsored moment
•    Support and deliver brand experiences that connect FGB customers and communities to the bank’s brand platform in meaningful and engaging ways
•    Manage all experiential marketing elements including concept development, logistics, on-ground execution, and post-activation evaluation
•    Surface opportunities to leverage sponsorship properties across campaigns and channels and bring these to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing for decision

3. Events Management
•    Plan and execute FGB marketing events including customer events, branch activations, trade events, and brand launches, as directed and approved by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing
•    Manage all event logistics including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, timeline planning, and on-the-ground delivery
•    Manage event logistics and expenditure within budgets approved by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing, tracking costs and flagging variances promptly
•    Conduct post-event evaluations and provide structured findings to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing

4. Digital Marketing Execution
•    Execute digital and social media campaigns across all platforms in line with the campaign strategy set by the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing
•    Set up, manage, and optimise digital campaign executions including paid social, organic content scheduling, and digital activations
•    Coordinate with the Communications Lead to ensure digital campaign content is on brand, on voice, and delivered to agreed timelines
•    Monitor digital campaign performance across platforms, compile results, and provide clear performance summaries to the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing

5. Agency and Supplier Management
•    Coordinate with creative agencies, event suppliers, production vendors, and activation partners to support campaign and event delivery against approved briefs
•    Ensure all external partners deliver to FGB's brand standards, campaign requirements, and agreed timelines
•    Track supplier deliverables, manage relationships proactively, and address delivery risks promptly
•    Support procurement and contracting processes for event and activation suppliers

6. Compliance and Governance
•    Ensure all campaign and activation materials comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and GraceKennedy Group standards
•    Maintain proper documentation, approval records, and audit trails for all campaigns and events managed

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge

•    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
•    Professional marketing certification is an asset
•    Minimum three years of experience in brand marketing, integrated campaign execution, events management, or a related field
•    Demonstrated experience executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
•    Experience planning and delivering events or experiential marketing activations
•    Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media campaign management, and performance tracking tools
•    Exposure to sponsorship activation and experiential marketing is an asset
•    Experience in financial services, banking, or a regulated industry is an asset
