GraceKennedy Remittance Services Limited (GKRS) invites applications from experienced, suitable, qualified and dynamic individuals for the position of:
BUSINESS ANALYST
Purpose of Position
To optimize project outcomes, collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to comprehensively define business needs, requirements, and process designs, while continually evaluating existing systems and processes for enhancements, and providing insightful recommendations to adapt to evolving market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Agree on areas for discovery with Project Manager and Business Owner.
- Complete schedule for discovery sessions.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Facilitate requirements review with key stakeholders.
- Ensure sign-off of requirements by relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse, monitor and communicate any variances in requirements.
- Interpret the business requirements to key personnel.
- Document process flows.
- Issue log- categorization and ranking (e.g., complexity, impact, phase 1, 2)
- Support the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in:
- Completion of Quality Assurance & UAT Documentation (Test Plan, Scenarios, Scripts)
- Execution of scripts or tests according to the organizational standards under the guidance of the Project Manager, IT Lead, Business Analyst or Quality Assurance Lead
- Maintaining accurate and complete supporting testing documentation.
- Participate in the drafting or reviewing of set up documents or user manuals.
- Participate in user requirements gathering.
- Conduct formal and or on-the-job training for system users.
- Contribute to the Project Go-Live and Implementation Plan.
- Contribute to the Closeout Report and Post Implementation Monitoring.
Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management Studies, Computer Sciences or Organizational Development.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
- Formal training in Business Analysis (Business Analysis certification and accreditations an asset)
- Working knowledge of the financial sector instruments, laws, regulations, ethics, professional jargon and macro economy.
- Solid understanding of Compliance and Regulations for Financial, instruments products and services.
