Special Requirements and Key Competences

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate staff
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong quality and safety commitment
• Unquestionable integrity
• Flexible and able to work under pressure
• High level of hands on technical experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers, automation, and electrical systems.

 Principal Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain budget in keeping with operational guidelines
• Maintain processes, utilities, facilities, and safety/security systems
• Collaborate with all departments to improve equipment capabilities and achieve maximum output
• Perform duties aimed at reducing line operating costs, increasing product quality and productivity
• Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, regulatory and company guidelines
• Design, implement and coordinate preventative maintenance systems
• Manage performance and inspire staff development
