CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE
Purpose of Job
Provides service that promotoes the retention and maintenance of business, in accordance with the agreed strategies and initiatives, to enable timely and effective achievement of the Company's goals.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that there is efficient and effective operation of the renewal process
- To provide support to the Customer Service team to facilitate the retention of clients
- Ensure clients are notified of upcoming renewals six (6) weeks prior to renewal
- Ensure monitoring report is updated
- Monitoring of lapsed/cancelled policies
- Negotiate and finalize policy renewal terms and coverage with Insurance Companes to ensure that clients receive the best solutions
Minimum Education and Experience
- Passes in five (5) CXC subjects including Manthematics (or a numerical subject) and/or English Language
- One or Two years experience in a Customer Service capacity within the insurance industry
- Working Knowledge of Motor and Property calsses of General Insurance

Purpose of Position
Provides service that promotes the retention and maintenance of business, in accordance with the agreed strategies and initiatives, to enable timely and effective achievement of the Company’s goals towards increasing Customer Service revenue and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that there is efficient and effective operation of the Renewal Process.
- To provide suppport to the customer service team to facilitate the retention of clients.
- Enhance revenue generation by working to ensure the maintaining of AIB’s standard retention rate.
- Ensure clients are notified of upcoming renewals six (6) weeks prior to renewal.
- Responsible for the management of Renewal Notices for the Customer Service Team for the various general insurance companies.
- Assist with the generating and updating of Customer Service Reports, including the Monitoring Report.
- Assist with generation of policy documentation and ensuring submission to respective clients.
- Assist with the monitoring of Lapsed/Cancelled polices on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the management of receivables for the Customer Service Team.
- Act as Relief Operator and Cashier as may be needed.
Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge
- Passes in five (5) CXC (General) subjects including Mathematics (or a numerical subject) and/or English Language
- One or two years experience in a Customer Service capacity within the insurance industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- Working knowledge of Motor and Property classes of General Insurance
- Registered Salesman in Motor and Property classes of business
