COMMERCIAL ANALYST

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Timely delivery of key reports (daily, monthly and as needed) for use by the Sales Team.
  • Prepare and collate monthly reports on behalf of the  Commercial Manager
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate current sales goals.
  • Any other report and responsibility that may be deemed important by the Commercial Manager.
  • Extract daily, weekly and monthly reports for use by the  Commercial team in the areas of expenses, sales, product distribution, etc.
  • Prepare reports capturing price trends/in-store facings provided by the Brand Managers, customer and product analysis in SAP.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related discipline/ Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar capacity (retail or grocery distribution/FMCG environment)/ technical experience in a similar or related field.
  •  Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting and statistical packages for analyzing data.
  • Strong math and analytical skills to process complex and/or diverse information; makes timely and sound decisions based in factual information. Processes complex and/or diverse information.
  • Analyze the numbers, trends and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings: pays attention to detail to ensure vigilance in analysis and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
