Logistics Officer



 

Logistics Officer (LO)

The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Logistics Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating logistics operations to ensure the seamless flow of inbound and outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics activities related to procurement, with a strong focus on efficient outbound shipment processes.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, customers, and service providers.
  • Provide guidance on import/export documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Organise and archive customs-related documents to ensure audit readiness.
  • Communicate significant changes to customer orders that may impact total order value to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or a closely related field.
  • Familiarity with SAP software is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and business principles.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer usage and relevant software applications.
