ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES ASSOCIATE

 

 

Reporting to the Head of Receivables, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the collections process of premium receivables for an organization. The Accounts Receivables Associate will be responsible for contacting customers including Brokers/Insurance Companies/Agents who have overdue accounts and negotiating payment arrangements. This person should be able to communicate effectively and have a strong ability to negotiate payment plans with customers.

 

Our ideal candidate is an organized, team and detail-oriented individual with strong communication, decision making and analytical skills.

 

At minimum, applicants should possess the following:

  • First Degree in Finance, Accounts or related field
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance Department
  • Experience in Receivables management would be a distinct asset
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • General accounting principles, standards and regulations
  • Collections management and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and techniques.
  • Strong customer relations and relationship building skills, poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to plan, prioritize, negotiate and meet deadlines
