Accounts Payable Officer

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER

(GK FOODS)

Reporting to the Senior Accountant—Payables, the incumbent will coordinate payables functions and assist with the daily cash flow management of the domestic business units in the GK Foods division.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Maintaining Invoice Receival Log daily
• Preparing proposal listings and printing of cheques/electronic transfers
• Processing of supplier invoices and other GL entries
• Ensuring transactions are cleared from the GR/IR account on time.
• Assisting with resolving issues on supplier reconciliations.

  WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or  ACCA Level 1 certification
• At least three (3) years of working experience in accounting or a related field
• Knowledge of SAP software and manufacturing accounting would be an asset
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
• Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in the use of the computer and related software applications
• Detail oriented.
